The following warranty is given in addition to those non-excludable rights and remedies conferred on customers and the nonvariableobligations imposed on Moon International Pty Ltd under the provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) andother applicable legislation. On the terms set out below, Moon International Pty Ltd Warrants the Monarch Screen, Monarch Plus, Monarch Maxi product to be free from defects from the date of purchase. • Polyester Pleated Mesh 12 months;• PVC, Stainless Steel and Aluminium materials and workmanship for a period of 7 years; • Framing components for the practicable life of the product; Damage caused by misuse or accidents or normal wearing of cord and track and mesh components can not be claimed under this or any other warranty. Butterfly clips are a wearing component and as such to not carry any warranty as they are designed to break and fatigue as part of the product design. Except as provided herein, Moon International Pty Ltd makes no other warranties whatsoever, express or implied, as to performance, characteristics, specifications or conditions of the product, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for purpose. Where such limitation of liability is not prohibited or void under any applicable legislation, Moon International Pty Ltd liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including consequential and economic loss) and howsoever arising (including but not limited to contract, tort and negligence) directly or indirectly in connection with their products or supply thereof, shall be limited to any one or more of the following as determined by Moon International Pty Ltd, in its absolute discretion: (i) The replacement of the product or the supply of equivalent products;(ii) The repair of such product; (iii) The payment of the cost of replacing the product or of acquiring equivalent products or; (iv) The payment of the cost of having the product replaced. Moon International Pty Ltd assumes no liability under the warranty for the following: *Misuse, abuse, accidental or intentional damage,*Improper adjustment or operation by the purchaser, *Improper maintenance or installation, *Fading and deterioration of surface finish where regular maintenance has not been carried out, *Inaccurate or incorrect site or operational specifications, *Unauthorised repair or modification, *Use contrary to instructions furnished by Moon International Pty Ltd *Use of replacement parts other than authorised parts Recommended Maintenance: Screen systems are a combination of many different substrates and therefore will be susceptible to normal wear and tear from the environment. Dirt, grime; air borne pollutants and salt deposits can affect the performance and appearance of screens. Screens tracks should be washed down with warm water and a mild detergent to remove contaminated deposits on the track. Cleaning of the mesh can be carried out using a soft brush or soft brush vacuum on a low suction setting. Should the mesh become soiled only clean with water with no chemical additives. A light spray of a silicone based lubricant should be applied to the screen track on every three months to assist lubrication. Cleaning of the screen must be carried out at frequent intervals. Failure to carry out regular maintenance may exclude the The following maintenance levels are recommended for maintaining the screen’s optimal operational condition: Environment Type• Mild-Rural and domestic areas, minimum every 6 months • Moderate-Cities and light industrial areas, minimum every 3 months • Severe-Coastal and heavy industrial areas, minimum every month By law, this warranty is the exclusive warranty granted by Moon International Pty Ltd and is in lieu of all other express or implied warranties or guarantees. There are no implied warranties as to the merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose. In all other respects the Standard Terms and Conditions of Moon International Pty Ltd apply. |
