Inside Reveal

Head Inside RevealThis method of installation is the most common and attractive way to install the screen.

Inside reveal mounting keeps the screen contained within the window/door opening and is less intrusive than inside frame mounting.

This method requires a minimum of 45mm clearance between the window/door sash and the screen.

Inside Frame

Head Inside FrameThis method of installation is most commonly used when fitting the screen to Bi-fold Doors and Stacker Doors.

Inside frame mounting fits the screen mechanism directly to window/door frame.

This method requires a minimum of 5mm clearance between the window/door sash and the screen.

It is not recommended to use this method is the door lock and handle latches at the jamb or the opening is very narrow.

Inside Room

Head Inside RoomThis method is best applied on installations if the revel depth is less than 45mm or there is not enough clearance between the window/door frame handle and the mounting position of the screen.

Inside room mounting is generally used on openings that are narrow or do not have enough depth for inside reveal mounting.

Inside room mounting requires a timber or Aluminium batten to be fixed around the opening for the screen to attach.

The advantage with the installing inside the room is that the screen does not impede any of the opening maximising entry and exit space. The disadvantage of inside room mounting is the screen mechanism is very visual and installation is more expensive.
